This is the second Krups product I've bought (and returned) recently. The heavy smell of plastic didn't go away after washing and running several cycles of water through this horrible coffee maker. Not to mention the fact that the espresso side didn't work at all; it would not heat up! I returned this awful product the same day I received it. Krups used to be a name you could relate to quality. Now they produce only junk. I wish I could have given it zero stars.I advise you to stay clear of this terrible product .... and this company.
